Terms of Service

Berean Study is an AI-powered Bible study aid. It uses a large language model and a curated library of public-domain Restoration Movement commentaries to answer questions, generate study guides, plan Bible classes, and create dinner-table devotionals.

The Service is a study aid, not an authoritative source. AI answers can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading. Always verify with the scriptures themselves, with trusted teachers, and with the community of faith. Do not rely on the Service alone for doctrinal, pastoral, or theological decisions.

• You must be 13 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• One account per person. You may not share an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.

You agree NOT to:

• Scrape, batch-extract, or otherwise programmatically pull content from the Service in violation of these Terms.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or group.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or paid feature gates.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content that violates law or another party's rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

• The Service has a free tier and a paid tier (Pro). Pro is billed monthly via Stripe. Pricing is shown on the pricing page.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your Account page.
• We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, your access continues through the end of the current billing period.
• We may change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 14 days before any price change takes effect.
• Promotional coupons or redemption codes apply as advertised at the time of redemption.

• Your questions and conversations belong to you. We store them so you can come back to them.
• AI-generated answers are produced on demand from public-domain source texts and a language model. We don't claim copyright over the answers; you can use them.
• Source texts (Bible translations, Restoration Movement commentaries) used by the Service are public domain or properly licensed.
• The Service itself — software, design, brand — remains our property and is not licensed to you beyond your right to use the Service.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations or for prolonged inactivity. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends; data may be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that AI-generated answers are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Use the Service at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (or, for free-tier users, US $0). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced in-app at least 14 days before taking effect for existing users.
